The
roots of the current-day Paul Jores GmbH go back to the 14th century.
The great-grandfathers of Paul Jores used to grind all types of cutting
tools. Initially they were wandering cutlers and tooth pullers until
Peter Jores, the grandfather of Paul Jores, was the first to settle
down in Sobernheim.
24-year-old Paul Jores took over the tradition from his father and over
time built a modern precision grindery. Between 1970 and 1975 the once
purely manual grindery was restructured into an industrial company. |
